This map indicates the district breakdown of the Iowa ARRL Section, and the counties that are included in those districts. Additionally, there are simplex frequencies that are listed for each county and district that are used for the individual counties use, as well as mutual aid frequencies that would used in the case of other counties and districts coming into an area to lend assistance in an emergency, or even in larger scale exercises.
All ARES members are urged to program the following frequencies into their mobile, handheld and "Go Box" setups. These frequencies will cover the District Mutual Aid frequencies and the simplex frequencies of our neighboring counties.
Again, all frequencies are simplex, and do not use any CTCSS tones or DCS codes.

If you are not able to program all of the listed frequencies because of memory space, at least try to get the District 4, neighboring counties programmed.
